LDBA COVID-19 STATEMENT
Submitted By LDBA on Saturday, March 14, 2020
The London and District Baseball Association is committed to providing a safe environment for its member players, coaches, administrators, officials, and family members. It is our recommendation after reviewing statements from Baseball Canada and Baseball Ontario, that all organized baseball activities involving all local associations within the LDBA be suspended until April 6, 2020. A further review may be required after this date.
Many local associations within the LDBA and within the Baseball Ontario umbrella have already taken these pro-active steps.  Should a local association not feel that this is an appropriate action,

we would urge you to take the steps set out from Health Canada as it relates to the safety of all and to heed the recommendations relating to people returning from travel outside of the country.

This is a difficult time for all, but the health and well being of people is the most important factor we considered in making this decision.
