LDBA will soon be running tryouts for the 2026 Ontario Summer games team. The tryout plan is to have a few indoor workouts in April and hopefully get on a diamond late April/early May for a couple tryouts/scrimmages to finialize the 2026 roster. The Coaching staff for the 2026 Ontario Summer games team will be Chris Devlin, Dave Ramsdale & Mathew Berger.   All three coaches have years of coaching experience within LDBA and around Ontario and no family relationship to any players that could attend the 2026 LDBA Ontario Summer games tryouts.

It is extremely dangerous to be outdoors when you hear thunder.  Coaches, players, umpires and parents should immediately seek shelter within a building if possible.  If no building is available, go to a car or truck or other hardtop vehicle and stay inside until 30 minutes after the last clap of thunder.  No place outside is safe during a thunderstorm.
