2016 Mosquito and Peewee All Star Team Tryouts

The London and District Baseball Association will be holding open tryouts for any competitive mosquito or peewee players.  These teams will represent the LDBA at the Peewee All Star tournament in Newmarket Ontario and the Bob Humphries Mosquito All Star tournament held in London.  Both tournaments are held Sept 17-18 2016.  Head Coach for the mosquito team is Wayne Bilger and head coach for the peewee team this year is Craig Jacques.  

There is a $25 tryout fee payable to LDBA to attend the tryouts and players will be guaranteed 3 tryouts. 

Tryouts are being held at Stronach Park on the following dates:  

Wed Sept 7, 2016             6pm-8pm Stronach Park  - Peewee #2 and Mosquito #3
Thurs Sept 8, 2016           6pm-8pm Stronach Park  - Peewee #2 and Mosquito #3
Sat Sept 10, 2016             9am-11am Stronach Park – Peewee #2 and Mosquito #3

Uniforms will be fitted at the conclusion of the final tryout on Saturday Sept 10.


Once Teams Have Been Selected – Successful players will require an additional $65 to cover uniform costs and this will be collected at the start of the first team practice. Uniforms will be handed out at final practice.


Tues Sept 13, 2016                  6pm-8pm Practice Stronach 1 Mosquito and Stronach Stadium Peewee

Thurs Sept 15, 2016                 6pm-8pm Practice Stronach 1 Mosquito and Stronach Stadium Peewee


Saturday Sept 17                     Tournament Games (Mosquito in London and Peewee in Newmarket)

Sunday Sept 18                       Tournament Games conclude (Mosquito in London and Peewee in Newmarket)


  • Please note that for the peewee team, hotel booking links will be sent out to all players at the conclusion of the final tryout as well.


Please download and print off the registration form in advance of the first tryout and mail the completed form and $25 registration fee to the address on the registration form.  Make cheques payable to London and District Baseball Association.
